Candidate for the position of LGBTQ+ Network - Communications Officer - LGBT

Isaac Robinson

Being part of the university’s LGBT+ community has been one of the best parts of my time here at university. I have met wonderful people, made memories and grown so much as a person. Being communications officer has always been something that has interested me. A communications officer is an individual that is a point of contact for the network, someone who acts as spokesperson for the network on various social medias. They must be friendly, impartial, confident, approachable and a good listener not only to network members but also their peers on the committee. I believe I can deliver these requirements and would love to be a part of the committee and be more involved. If I was given the chance to be communications officers I would carry the quality of dedication that our current comms officer has and more. One of the things I want to focus more on as comms would be getting feedback from the people that matter most, you guys. Hearing your thoughts on what we are doing currently and what we want to do in the future. This is all very exciting, and I hope you can put your trust in me in being communications officer for the next educational year ??
