Hey guys!
I'm running for the role of Manager for the Pole and Aerial Arts Society as I have fallen in love with pole fitness and want to help others to do the same!
I started pole back in 2017 with the uni society and have been doing it since. I am currently on a placement year, so have been attending lessons at a different studio, where I have learnt so much. I want to be able to help people to progress and achieve new moves with confidence (and a sassy hair flick!)
I'm very keen to try and organise various social gatherings, whether this be nights out, meals, or even just little trips out that are relatively cheap, as I think bonding with everyone in the group is so important as part of a society.
As well as this, I would love to be able to set up a Staffs Pole and Aerial Showcase, so that the skills and moves that you've learnt can be shown off at the end of the year! This is always an exciting way to boost your confidence and shows you just how far you have come. This would be in addition to weekly photographs and videos at each training session - these always show you just how strong you've become.
