Due to being a regular from the society I have decided to put myself forward as the society manager.
If voted in I look forward to improving our society with small tweaks such as;
- Blind timers / using the poker app created very kindly by Chip
- Payouts will be the same percentage every week to avoid confusion about payouts
- A society leaderboard which will be visible by all players online
- A possible change in date as to allow for some players to attend other venues, e.g the terrace if they so chose.
The last point would be voted on during the first few weeks if voted in.
I would also like to try and see some new faces in our brilliant society and plan on doing this by discussing with the future communications officer to organise teaching days where people can come down to learn poker if they feel unsure about spending money on a game they have no idea to play.
I look forward to seeing the future of this society and playing poker with you all again very shortly.
