Effective communication starts with listening.
If I were to be chosen for the committee member role, my main focus would be to improve communication between both the committee and students. Communication methods on both sides are vital to ensure everyone feels safe and included.
I wish to implement optionally anonymous feedback forms that allow students to express what would make the network a safer place for them without fear of ridicule or judgement.
i also wish to implement more structure to the social events run by the network so that students are more informed on what the network offers for them, as well as allowing them to set aside time if they wish to attend social gatherings.
The last major thing I wish to implement is social events with themes such as arts and crafts or board games on occasion so that students have more variety.
