Clap for the future NHS Children's Nurses.
Hey! I'm Nova (pronouns: they/them) and I'm currently a second year Children’s Nursing student. Now why do I think I qualify for this ? Well, to begin with I’m hyper organized. I would love to add that I was a course rep for my cohort last year. Having this role last year allowed me to take on board any feedback that my classmates had and report them to the Student’s Union. Once I had their feedback, I then fed it back to the students and escalate any concerns that they had with the way that the course was structured and how much support they were given and how easy it was to access. If I had to describe myself, I would say that I love meeting new people, being in-charge of things (makes me feel "responsible"). Having this role would allow me to feel responsible for making sure Children’s Nursing students have the best access to support and that they are not struggling with anything. I am not sure if it helps but the fact that I am off alcohol actually means that I am sober most of the time, when I take decisions :)
