Welcome Fest: I'll organize a vibrant Welcome Fest to ensure new students feel connected and engaged from day one on campus. It will offer diverse activities, workshops, cultural showcases, and opportunities to connect with clubs, fostering a sense of community and belonging. This ensures that all students feel valued and supported as they begin their academic journey at Staffordshire University.
Student Success: Optimizing Dissertation Timelines: Dissertation marks a pivotal academic milestone. Current Semester 3 commencement often challenges students. I propose starting dissertations in Semester 2, granting ample time for thorough research, method refinement, and quality output. This adjustment will not only ease student pressure but also showcase the university's dedication to student success. It will reevaluate the dissertation timelines to align with student needs and foster a balanced workload throughout their academic journey.
Student Support and Advocacy: I will advocate for all students, amplifying their voices and addressing their needs and concerns.
