Sometimes we all need a little support from our friends, and James has gone above and beyond to be that support for many of his peers. Thank you James, for making us Proud to be Staffs.
James Walton's Story
"They are an absolute inspiration to me and others. They make me Proud to be Staffs because, despite going through a lot of hardships in the first year, James made sure we kept going and finding the support that we need. As a result, we’ve had contact with lovely people such as Rachel from Student Services, Coalport and Greenpad. Without his encouragement, I would’ve lost hope. And without such a great team on campus, we wouldn’t feel proud - but we are. His enthusiasm for his course reflects well in his outside activities: he always works on projects to develop and make websites, he loves learning new things, and is applying to develop connections during the summer. I believe that his hard work is definitely worth mentioning as he’s been a role-model and helpful member of his class. It also shows his perseverance as with everything that he’s gone through he still comes out with the biggest smile and amazing work ethic."
