For being a 'Work Mum' to her team as part of our Union family, Charlie has been nominated as an exemplary Team Leader and role model. All this despite facing some of the most difficult personal circumstances. Thank you Charlie, for making us Proud to be Staffs.
Charlie Cooper's Story
"Despite going through some life-altering, traumatic events herself this year, she has been a staunch support for so many members of staff at LRV and Verve she has earned the title of Work Mum. She has supported staff in coming out, gender transitions and mental health crises despite being on the verge of collapse herself. She works harder than anyone I know, and will cover shifts for anyone she can as much as she can when they need it. She will check up on people on her own time, make a point of offering advice and emotional support regardless of how well she knows the person and is an absolute rock for our LRV family. So many of us wouldnt be here if it werent for her, and she deserves the highest honours possible"
