CCS is a diverse and inclusive group which offers a range of activities, such as attending cons, designing cosplays, and meeting up for fun socials! If you're struggling to find your way around or need some guidance on what cons to attend or where to buy your cosplay or how to craft your cosplay, there's a ton of friendly faces who can give you some great advice!

• We run regular social cosplay meetup every Wednesday afternoon in T005 in the beacon building

• Making use of the broad range of knowledge in our society we run various skill sessions such as sewing workshops customising cosplays and wigs as well as general crafting and cosplay techniques

• We aim to run frequent photoshoots to enable our members to show off progress on their cosplays or props and to help them understand the best ways to promote themselves online.

As the cosplay and convention society we strive to attend one convention each year, we try to arrange discounts for all our members who want to come along with us, however sometimes we're unable. We travel as a group and take the train to conventions, with meeting spots and contact details so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. We as a society plan to make socials accessible for all so members are able to participate to the best of their abilities.

Our Current Memberships cost £3 per academic year (2024/25).
