R.A.M.S. is the home of alternative music, social events, and clubnights at the University of Staffordshire since 2009 (15 years!)

If you like music, hanging out with others, and feeling included, the R.A.M.S. crowd is diverse with those who love all sorts of hobbies, such as Warhammer, Tabletop, Video Games, Programming, Sports, Cars, and many many more! 

Every member of R.A.M.S. is different, but we all come together over our love for music and are always welcome to new members, and we are thoroughly #proudtobestaffs!

What we do:

• Host music nights at the local student venues, namely R.A.M.S. Karaoke and R.A.M.S. INVASIONs.
• Host collaborative events such as the "Monster's Ball" on Halloween, support MISFIT nights every 2nd Monday of the month, and get involved with other collab nights with the Coven, Folklore, Myth and the LGBTQ+ network.
• Meet up frequently at other student events such as Tuesday Karaoke, Flashback Fridays and any other eventd put on by the union.
• Frequently attend events and venues outside of the University, such as Devils Night and Skullcracker, we even have a R.A.M.S. Camp at Download some years!
• Facilitate life-long friendships between members!

Benefits of the R.A.M.S. Membership:

• You gain a free wristband, entitling you to discounted entry to Skullcracker (2nd Saturday of the month, The Underground), MISFIT (3rd Saturday of the month, Ember Lounge) and Devils Night! (Last Saturday of the month, The Sugarmill)
• FREE entry to ALL R.A.M.S. events, and select collaborative events such as the Monster Ball (30th October, LRV) Valentines Bash, and Tavern! (Dates TBA)
• Access to R.A.M.S. Merch!
• Subsidised society trips!
• And finding a group of people you can call friends, possibly for life!
• Member Discounts! 

What we're looking to do:

• We're looking to get involved with charities such as UPRAWR, Movember and the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
• Planning additional R.A.M.S. Events for members to get involved with, hopefully without harming your wallet!
• Extending the value of our wristbands with other discounts and uses.
• Include and facilitate interaction with the R.A.M.S. Old Guard (Alumni), possibly with Merch, event inclusion, and other possibilities.
