WE ARE HISTORIA NORMANNIS - NORTH MERCIA RE-ENACTMENT

Welcome to the most versatile society that you will come accross at Staffordshire University. We have so much stuff for you to do that you won't want for any other society when you join.

For those interested in COMBAT: We have a wide range of weapons for you to choose from. These range from spears to long knives, with everything in between from this era

For those interested in HISTORY: We have a number of members who can give a wide range of knowledge on life from this era. We even affiliate with English Heritage to let us use old castles and large fields for incredible battles!

For those interested in CRAFT: We have a number of guilds which include leatherworkers, metalworkers, sewers, and woodworkers. For many in this community, it is their livelihood, or a side business and so they have plenty to teach you. We can teach you how to make, look after, and maintain any part of your kit that you choose.

And for EVERYONE ELSE: If none of this interests you, then perhaps you can just stop by for a chat. This hobby attracts a whole wide range of people with many different hobbies and interests. An easy way to make new friends, meet new people, and get involved.
