Pokemon evolve and its franchise shows how people evolve.
Being confident in speech is something that we most people struggle with. However, being comfortable with public speech after doing many announcements, in lower forms of academia and working jobs, I have the ability to express information in clear and easy to understand way, while also adhering to what needs to be heard. Within the role of communication itself suggests making announcements that are informative but also being something to look forward to, which the way it is presented being just as important as what the announcements are.
If I am elected as the Communications officer for the Pokemon society, Not only would I take on what role asks of me, I would expand upon it by also taking in suggestions on possible events we could run as well as being the main vocal point of the society if we were to do any major events during the academic year. This role does not allow to personalise the society towards specific events that only certain individuals would enjoy but rather open up that the entirety of the society would enjoy.
Being the Communications Officer also means running the society social media, which has gotten very little use this academic year. I would up its usage and also use it as a main tool in the growth of the society as well as seeing engagement for people who go from being interested in the society to actually joining the society. Being able to get the society seen where it normally wouldn't be allows for it to expand in both members but also value to every session that the Pokemon Society does.
