Staffordshire residents will have the opportunity to learn more about climate change when the carbon bubble tours the county during the summer of 2023.
The carbon bubble is a 10-meter installation that helps people visualize how their daily activities can impact carbon emissions. The bubble will be accompanied by staff from local council climate change teams who will provide advice and tips to help residents reduce their carbon footprint.
The events are as low carbon as possible. The bubble is inflated using a low carbon fuel (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil) and emissions from transporting the balloon have been off set.
The tour is taking place in various towns across Staffordshire, and is a great opportunity to find out what you can do to reduce the size your own carbon bubble.
