Proud to be Staffs Story: Ahmad Haidery

"Ahmad has taught me at several points throughout my degree, but most prominently in my final year, teaching two of my semester 1 modules and acting as my final year project supervisor in semester 2. Ahmad goes above and beyond for all his students, always making himself available to answer questions and help consolidate understanding. In my semester 1 modules, Ahmad’s enthusiasm for our success was instrumental in the attainment of our grades. He offered formative guidance with fast feedback and was generally very encouraging. Acting as my project supervisor this semester, Ahmad has been sure to quickly settle any of my queries, provided all his project students with a wealth of information on their topics, and taken time out of his schedule to be in the labs with us on numerous occasions to help coach us through learning the various techniques involved. I, and I’m sure many other students, would like to recognise and thank Ahmad for his contribution to our learning experience, and this seems like a fitting way to do so. "
