Alicia Lok's Story
"Alicia has more pride for this university and what she does than any other person I know. She puts 100% of herself into what she does, from her course to working at Ember Lounge to her work as a Student Communications Ambassador. I've never met somebody with such a positive outlook on life. She does everything she can for this university, travelling around the country, greeting new international students and occasionally handling the uni's social media on important days. She makes me proud to be Staffs more than anybody else. She's always willing to help and is an incredibly kind person and such a good representation of what this uni has to offer. So many people who do attend this uni have such a negative view of it and its current ongoings, but Alicia never seems to share those opinions. Her dedication and pride in being here make me want to be proud of this university every single day, too. Her hard work and enthusiasm for everything she does here should be recognised because without her my time here at Staffs would not have been as pleasant or positive, as I'm sure is the case for the many people who cross paths with Alicia in one way or another!"
