"team and members over 4 months have raised over £100 for Macmillan cancer, secured a £900 sponsorship for the team shirts. attended 3 tournaments which one of them was organised and hosted myself inviting 25 teams across different universities (128 students) to compete in a tournament on the weekend of 29th-30th Jan. Staffs Cue Sports team have gone above and beyond these four months to build this society into a community/family for its members in the space of four months. Organising and hosting a tournament, raising money for charity, and securing a sponsorship so their members have shirts to represent their university is amazing! Within the first 4 weeks, Cue Sports managed to secure a venue to practice on for 4 hours a week (4 tables) so every single member can benefit from their membership! This society defiantly deserves an award for the effort and commitment everyone has put in for this group! The committee and the members are what makes me proud to be Staffs. "
