Proud to be Staffs Story:Keith Wharton
Lecturer, School of Law, Policing and Forensics
Over the last 12 months we all needed time to laugh and support from others to keep upbeat and positive. The impact that our lecturers can have by supporting students through their time here has never been more clear. Thank you, Keith, for making us Proud to be Staffs.
Keith Wharton's Story
"It’s been really difficult to learn online since the pandemic began but Keith has gone above and beyond every week to bring our class the best student experience he possibly can. He’s managed to keep us all laughing in upbeat lectures and keep us focused on our end goals. He’s always made himself available - even through holidays which I know is not something every lecturer is willing to do. No matter what has happened this year Keith has always reminded us that, should any of us need someone to talk to, he is there and this is something I’m sure everyone would value. He’s supported us through our first and second year at university whilst completing a degree of his own and never once has he hesitated to offer help to anyone that needs it despite an incredibly busy schedule. In short, Keith is one of the most supportive lecturers at Staffordshire university, it’s been a pleasure to be taught by him and I have never met anyone as selfless, caring and positive. Keith deserves to be recognised as someone who makes me and many others proud to be part of the university. "
We hope that you are as proud of your story as we are. However, if you would prefer the Students' Union to no longer display you story on our website, please email union@staffs.ac.uk and a member of our friendly team will be happy to help.
