Keeping our University and accomodation clean and safe has been critically important this year in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, during which our key workers have continued working tirelessly for our students. Thank you Ligia and her team for making us Proud to be Staffs.

Ligia Vieira's Story

"Ligia is the cleaning supervisor in on campus accommodation and her and her team work extremely hard at the best of times, but particularly during the recent pandemic, they have pulled out all the stops to ensure that accommodation is clean and safe for our remaining students. The team don't get enough recognition for what they do but particularly Ligia. She leads her team so well and is an asset to the accommodation team. Her knowledge and support needs to be recognised!"
