On Thursday 23rd November Cop Shop held its bike registration event outside the Catalyst buliding on Stoke Campus. PC Gareth Richardson was joined by Jenny Lear from Staffordshire Police Head Quarters to register students bikes over on Leek Road.
Bike registration invloves printing a unique barcode number onto your bike. By registering your bike it is placed in the National Cycle Database, this prevents theft and provides a more efficient search and recovery of your bike if it has been stolen.

Cop Shop are planning on creating another bike registration event next year on college road, so keep your eye out for further events!
