On Wednesday 21st February, the Cop Shop team were in Hanley to promote the city centre’s safe spaces available to students. Hanley city centre is a popular destination amongst students, providing a variety of shopping options during the day and an exciting nightlife after dark. With all the activity in the city, it is important that you are aware of your safe spaces should you ever need them. The safe spaces in Hanley can provide students with a site which can offer help and support if you ever find yourself in a difficult situation or at risk of harm.

The two main safe spaces in the city centre include Hanley Police and Fire Station, and the Restart Centre. Both locations operate during day and night, and operation times can be found on the relevant Facebook pages. Both of these safe spaces are also located in the heart of the city allowing easy access to both sites.

So, If you are ever out in Hanley, make sure you observe your safe spaces and understand how to access them if you are ever in need of help.
