Christmas on campus at the Students' Union's Verve was a jolly affair! On the big day, about 80 students who stayed back at the university joined in the fun from 1pm until 6pm.

The place was buzzing with excitement, thanks to Olayemi,Faran, Opal and Mick the Vic, who pitched in to help me organising the event, and gave up their time on Christmas day to ensure that our students had a memorable day.

It was a total hit! Students had a blast playing giant Jenga, challenging each other at pool, and taking part in a cool Christmas quiz. And you know what made it even better? The room was filled with the sounds of Christmas songs, refreshments and hot drinks making it feel super cosy for those who couldn't go home for the holidays.

But wait, there's more!

The Students Union Team had a surprise for everyone. They wrapped up chocolates as gifts for all the students. When everyone saw these yummy treats all wrapped up so nicely, it brought huge smiles to their faces. It was a simple thing, but it made the day even more special.

The atmosphere was awesome—everyone was so friendly and happy. When the students unwrapped their chocolate surprises, the room filled with laughter and thank-yous. These little gifts showed that the Students' Union and our University cares about each and every student, especially during Christmas when being away from home can feel a bit tough.

The event wasn't just about games and music; it was about being together and looking out for one another. It was a day that made everyone feel warm and fuzzy inside. It's these kinds of moments that stick with you, making Christmas at Verve a truly memorable and heartwarming experience. It had been a previlege to organise this event, all thanks to the Students' Union for giving me an opputunity to make this happen.
