apply for parking permits during graduation

From Tuesday 16 July 2024, up to and including Monday 22 July 2024, our graduation ceremonies will take place in the Grade 2 listed Kings Hall in Stoke-on-Trent, and we will be using our main Stoke-on-Trent campus for all pre and post ceremony activity.

On those days, our graduating Class of 2024 and their guests will be able to park on our Leek Road site – we are therefore asking all staff and students who are attending campus on those days, and who have a parking permit and usually park on Leek Road, to apply for a free parking permit to park at one of two offsite locations:

Fenton Manor Sports Complex - ST4 2RR?
We will be offering a regular park and ride service to and from our Leek Road site. A copy of the timetable for this service can be viewed in the attachment here.

Approx: 20 minute walk to College Road site.
Approx: 15 minute walk to The Catalyst building?

Wharf Place Car Park – Stoke-on-Trent City Council Car Park - ST4 1LE?(through the barrier)

Approx: 8 minute walk to the College Road Campus?
Approx: 6 minute walk to The Catalyst Building?

Please complete the form to request a temporary parking permit, valid only for the duration of the graduation ceremonies.

Apply for a temporary parking permit here.

If your request is successful, you will receive a temporary parking permit for your chosen car park location via email - this must be printed and displayed on your dashboard when entering campus or parking at our offsite parking areas during the five days.

Parking for our staff and students will remain available on our College Road site, although places are very limited. Bicycles will be able to use existing cycle parking on campus, and to further reduce the amount of traffic during this time, we also encourage the use of public transport or car sharing.

If you have any accessibility requirements, please use the new Solve portal to raise your concerns. Only current temporary accessible permits and blue badge holders will be able to request a possible exemption.
