We're pleased to share examples of the wonderful people and groups in our community and how they make our student members feel proud. Each group or individual that receives a recognition submission is in with a chance of winning a We Are Staffs Award!

" Daisy Dillon has single-handedly turned Pokémon society from a small group with overlapping interests into a thriving and interconnected community of like-minded people. Her charisma and passion ensures that everyone feels welcome, and she's constantly making efforts to connect with her members and that they connect with eachother, transforming the society into a thriving group where anyone can happily join and interact with anyone else knowing they'll be welcomed and engaged. She organises events both in and out of session, giving people ample time to meet up to study, chat or just enjoy a nice day. During events involving presentations or public speaking she ensures the members are heard and respected. Without her I believe the society would not have grown and flourished as much as it had, as she has brought her energy with her every session to ensure we all have the best time.
