Some proud students told us...

"FACS provides events that we wouldn't normally get to do as a part of the forensics course. FACS has worked hard to reach out to incredible people in the world of forensics."

"FACS have developed a friendly space for people of all kinds of people to come together and share their interests in forensics and crime."

"FACS is an amazing group that goes into areas of forensics that I as a game student would never have known about, and am fascinated by. Being in the group has allowed me not only to learn about forensics in a way that I wouldn't be able to, or even know I was interested in, but has also let me personally learn how to better communicate and ask questions to people both in my peer group and in higher levels of experience/expertise. As for my student experience, I've been able to talk to people I wouldn't know about if not, those in the society and also those that the fantastic FACS manager (Chloe Lomas) was able to arrange. I've had talks from the only forensic jeweller in the world, who gave a talk on how jewellry can be used to identify those who might have lost distinguishing features."

"I am tremendously proud to share a society with some of the friendliest people in the university who all share a deep passion for forensic and crime scene investigation. I've been able to obtain knowledge regarding information about other optional modules (e.g., vehicle collision) that I had not picked for this year and overall being in this group has enabled me to step out of my comfort zone and boost my confidence in being in a setting surrounded by people who share similar interests."

Thank you FACS Society for making a positive difference for students here at Staffs.

We hope that you are as proud of your story as we are. However, if you would prefer the Students' Union to no longer display your story on our website, please email union@staffs.ac.uk and a member of our friendly team will be happy to help.
