04/03 - I had some regular catch-ups with the Heads of Departments for Computing and Engineering, contributed to the International Student Working Group, and supported dissertation students. I attended the TALAWA meeting with NUS Officers in University of Birmingham got briefing on issues of miseducation, while participating in Ramadan and Eid planning ensuring inclusive campus events.
11/03 - Last week, I was involved in essential university activities, including planning for Summer Graduation, addressing student support and wellbeing, meeting with the Director of Learning and Teaching, and collaborating with the University Marketing Team and Student Comms Ambassadors on an episode of the Student Connect Podcast celebrating Pakistani culture for Ramadan.
18/03 - This week, I contributed to improving the educational experience for international students by participating in a focus group, emphasized diversity and inclusion, collaborated on Digital Transformation Board, and prioritised student concerns.
25/03 - Last week, I contributed to the Academic Board, collaborated on diversity initiatives with the EDI Working Group, provided feedback at the NUS Survey focus group, addressed international student needs, participated in Sussex SU - NUS Hustings, and stayed connected through various catch-ups.
