On the 14th of March, our DEGS Society and Students' Union hosted a Holi event, and I had an absolute blast attending it!
It was such a vibrant and energetic celebration where we all came together, laughed, and threw color powder at each other without a second thought. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and the bright sunshine made it even better, helping us capture some amazing pictures.

The event had a great turnout, with a good number of students joining in. The music was fantastic, setting the perfect vibe for the festival and making it impossible not to dance and enjoy every moment. What made it even more special was the social aspect, here were moments where we met fellow students for the first time, introduced ourselves, and instantly bonded over throwing colors at each other.
By the end of the event, there was an abundance of blue powder left, which led to a hilarious situation, most of us ended up looking like characters straight out of Avatar!! It was such a funny sight, and we couldn’t stop laughing at how unrecognizable we had all become.

It’s amazing how Holi has this unique way of bringing people from different backgrounds together, and experiencing that here at Staffs was truly heartwarming.
Overall, it was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, colors, and great company. I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!
