Last Wednesday was a day of vibrant celebration as students of various backgrounds gathered to mark Holi, the Festival of Colours. The turnout was fantastic, with both home students and international students, coming together to join in the festivities. It was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, camaraderie, and of course, lots of colours.
The event provided a unique opportunity for international students to experience the rich cultural tradition of Holi first-hand. Many of them had never participated in such festivities before, and they embraced the occasion wholeheartedly, immersing themselves in the joyous atmosphere and forging new friendships along the way. After holi the students’ played a lot of games which were played during their school days. It brought the feeling of being closer to home.
The success of the event was largely attributed to the hard work and dedication of the Students Union, who worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Their efforts in organizing the event not only provided students with a memorable experience but also fostered a sense of community and belonging on campus.
As the day came to a close, students departed with hearts full of fond memories and a renewed sense of connection to their fellow classmates. The celebration of Holi had brought everyone together, transcending cultural differences and uniting them in the spirit of joy and togetherness.
