 Don’t struggle alone—know what's available to you and take action!

What Are Exceptional Circumstances?
 You have the RIGHT to apply for extra time or reasonable adjustments.
 This is for unexpected, unavoidable events affecting your work (e.g., illness, bereavement, crime).

Before You Apply:
 You have the RIGHT to be supported—speak to your lecturer, course leader, or Wellbeing Team.
 Start collecting evidence (doctor’s note, police report, official correspondence).

How & When to Apply?
 You have the RIGHT to apply via e:Vision Portal.
 You can apply before or up to 2 weeks after your deadline.
 Applications without valid evidence may be rejected—know your rights and be prepared!

Important Warnings!
 You have the RIGHT to fair assessment—do not risk plagiarism or AI-generated work.
 Misuse of Exceptional Circumstances (e.g., repeated claims) may affect your application.
