This regularly updated page will help you track what Len has been up to throughout October 2023...
02/10 - Today, we have launched The Leadership Academy through the Careers Hub - this is another one of my manifesto points that has been ticked off! The Citizenship Module has also been completed, which has tied off a joint project carried over from last year!
09/10 - Last week, I had a bout of 'fresher's flu', so had a few days recovering in, addition to attending some of my normal meetings. The Leadership Academy is now complete and live on the Career's Portal, and I also attended the Labour Party Conference in support of the University and Fit for Purpose with the launch of the Basic Needs Survey Pilot.
16/10 - With the return of classes, I have had the return of regular catchups with JSS (School of Justice, Security and Sustainability) and the IoP (Institute of Policing). I did a lot of filming as well, as attending the Celebrating Staff Success Awards. Most importantly, though, I attended the Board of Governors, where vital conversations around the university happen!
30/10 - Last week, I continued developing work on the Engagement Deal before it goes through university boards, contributed to the Inclusion Framework, and the development of the Leadership Academy ended. This means it is now ready for the next stage, which is preparing it so our partnership colleges can access it!
