We're pleased to share examples of the wonderful people and groups in our community and how they make our student members feel proud. Each group or individual that receives a recognition submission is in with a chance of winning a We Are Staffs Award!

"This is my home at staffs, everybody here makes me feel proud and loved. Everyone in this community makes you feel like you belong. They offer so much in terms of fun and belonging. They offer tournaments monthly and weekly sessions where we talk and play games together. This is simply the best community the university has to offer (hands down.) This society do alot outside of session hours such as daily conversations on discord or interesting quizzes and meetups such as bowling or other fun activities that are just so fun to be a part of. They also provide a place to do work when it's close to deadlines and are as helpful as they can be with their amazing committee! They also take part in major events such as GG! If you look at the Mario Kart society and think "oh they just play mario kart" you will be utterly mistaken... mario kart is their own community that also plays mario kart and have really made me feel part of this university I've made so many friends through connections from the mario kart society and it's the best decision I ever made when I came to university"
"The GG was massive!!! There was so much to do at this event, it allowed members from all of the big gaming societies to connect with eachother and discover so many people and activities, there was a cosplay competition and drinks themed around different video games. There was so much to do for everybody of all backgrounds and activities and it was just a great event from beginning to end"
"MKS are really supportive and generally a very down to earth group of people, they are very relatable and have made my experience much more enjoyable"
