The Myth Society supported by your Students’ Union is all about tabletop game players who play wide range of board games such as - card games, wargames, tabletop RPGs and more! Whether you’re a veteran of tabletop games or a complete newcomer looking to learn more about them, Myth is the perfect place for you to meet others while also having some fun! The society is run by the Manager - Quetz Davis, Finance officer - Jack Dawson, Communications officer - Michal Pac and Wellbeing and Inclusion Officer - Scott Gentry!
Myth Society Activities and Events
Myth Society offers a range of weekly events catering to tabletop enthusiasts. Each week, members can partake in wargames, board games, and Table top role-playing game one-shot campaigns. The society has a large collection of tabletop games and equipment, available for members to use during weekly events or their own gatherings.
Myth Society also provides opportunities to join longer campaigns for tabletop RPGs led by the group. It's an ideal setting for individuals looking to connect with a welcoming gaming community.
Myth has an active Discord server, where they regularly promote these events details. Whether you're an experienced gamer or new to the scene, there's always something exciting happening at Myth.
In addition to tabletop activities, Myth collaborates with other societies for events like Tavern Night. Working alongside groups such as Coven, RAMS, Folklore, and LGBTQ+ Network, Myth creates memorable experiences with themed drinks and fantasy-inspired activities. Previous collaborations include the Valentines Bash, with many more exciting events planned.
