The Society is a welcoming and inclusive group for students of all backgrounds, with a focus on celebrating the vibrant cultures of East Asia, Southeast Asia, and other Asian ethnicities. They aim to create a strong sense of community where students can connect, make lifelong friends, and feel a sense of belonging.
Events and Activities
- Weekly Meetups: Every Wednesday in the Flaxman Building, Room L410. They have weekly meetups to hang out with fellow members, chat, and have fun.
- Cultural Sessions: You can learn about different Asian cultures through interactive activities, discussions, and presentations.
- "Bring Your Own Culture's Food" Events: A monthly opportunity to share delicious dishes from your cultural background and experience the diverse flavors of Asia.
- Social Events: The members organise Game nights, quiz nights, study sessions, bowling, movie nights, karaoke, and more!
- Trips to UK Cities: They are soon organising a trip to UK cities to explore different parts of the UK and experience new things with your fellow society members
