Staffs Women In STEM (SWIS) are launching a new student-led mentorship program!
SWIS is a society that 'focuses on empowering and supporting our female students' in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects. As part of this, they have now opened a Peer Mentor Program.
The program pairs foundation to second year students with other more experienced students to help navigate coursework, job and internship balance, and career opportunities, while providing mentee and mentor alike with confidence and support in male-dominated fields.
Positions for Mentee and Mentor roles are available, with a deadline for signing up being Friday 18th October, so if this interests you make sure to become a member of SWIS (as this is a requirement) and apply for these roles using the QR codes on their flyer.
