As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and civic partnerships we have, across the Stoke campus, 4 clothes bins dedicated to the collection of donations for the British Heart Foundation, supporting their #PackForGood campaign.

This year's annual report is in, and we're pleased to announce that by thoughtfully re-homing pre-loved items, our generous students have this year:

  • Donated 271 bags of pre-loved items

  • Diverted over 2 tonnes of items from waste

  • Raised £4,065 through the sale of items to help fund BHF's life-saving research

The BHF's mission:

  • To fund lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases, support those affected by these conditions and promote heart health across the UK.

By collaborating we:

  • Drive sustainability; encouraging the reuse and recycling of items, reducing environmental impact

  • Support ESG goals

  • Fund research; raising essential funds that directly support life-saving research initiatives.

Thank you to everyone who took the time and effort to donate.
