What is the Annual Members' Meeting?

It's that time of year again - November means Members' Meeting... but what exactly IS it?

The Annual Members' Meeting is when we look back on and talk openly about how the Union has functioned for the previous academic year. In short, this means sharing some interesting statistics and our finances, and celebrating our wins. This meeting is open to all students, so if you've ever wanted to know the ins and outs of how our Union is run and what our impacts are, our Annual Members' Meeting allows our membership the chance to do just that!

As a Students' Union, we are run for and by students, which means it's important for us to be transparent with you. This is one of the best opportunities to do that, and we always make sure to allow online attendance and record the meeting - start to finish! - to make it as easy as possible for our students to access.

This year's Members' Meeting takes place from 5-6:30pm on Wednesday the 20th November. We encourage you to attend in person in our September Room boardroom, in the Students' Union building on the College Road side of the Stoke campus, but you are also welcome to drop in online via the Teams link provided. Check out our event page for all the info!
